These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Shine Bright Cleaning Services (“Shine Bright,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to request referrals to residential cleaning providers. By requesting, scheduling, or accepting services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Referral and contracting platform
Shine Bright operates as a referral and contracting platform that connects clients with independent cleaning contractors. Shine Bright does not itself provide cleaning labor. Contractors are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, joint venturers, or partners of Shine Bright.
2. Independent contractor responsibility
Each contractor controls the manner and means of performing the cleaning services, subject to the scope agreed with the client. Contractors are responsible for their own equipment, supplies, conduct, licensing, taxes, insurance, and compliance with applicable law.
3. Estimates, bookings, and payment
Quotes are estimates based on the information a client provides and may change if the size, condition, access, or requested scope differs. Appointment availability is not guaranteed until confirmed. Payment terms, cancellation fees, and rescheduling arrangements will be communicated when a booking is confirmed.
4. Client responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate property and service information, safe and timely access, and notice of hazards, fragile items, pets, alarms, restricted areas, or surfaces requiring special care. Clients should secure valuables, cash, medications, and irreplaceable items before service begins.
5. Contractor performance and property damage
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shine Bright disclaims responsibility and liability for the acts, omissions, service quality, delays, cancellations, misconduct, negligence, or other performance issues of independent cleaning contractors. Shine Bright is not liable for loss of or damage to property caused by a contractor. Any concern or claim relating to contractor performance or property damage must be raised directly with the contractor responsible.
Please report concerns promptly to Shine Bright so we may help facilitate communication; doing so does not create liability or an obligation for Shine Bright to reimburse, repair, replace, or resolve the claim.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shine Bright will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, use, data, or goodwill arising from use of the platform, a referral, or cleaning services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Cancellations and access
Clients should provide reasonable notice to cancel or reschedule. A cancellation or lockout fee may apply when a contractor has reserved time or arrived but cannot access the property. Any applicable fee will be disclosed during booking.
8. Communications
By submitting a request, you authorize Shine Bright to contact you about that request by call or text. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may ask us to stop text messages at any time.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised effective date. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be directed to Shine Bright Cleaning Services at (914) 350-4564 or through our contact page.
These Terms are provided for general business use and are not legal advice. Shine Bright should have them reviewed by a qualified New York attorney before relying on them.
